
The InovFarmer.MED organized, together with the municipality of Torres Novas and GoFigo, the 2nd Workshop Figs for the Future, held on July 17th at the Municipal Library space.
We had the presence and collaboration of several fig producers for a working session from which invaluable data and results were obtained for the future of this product and for the impact of the InovFarmer.MED project.
The meeting had the clear purpose of exposing new business possibilities, including a sensory tasting of dried figs using technological resources. This tasting was organized by Sílvia Moreira (F4S), Thaís Brum (F4S), and Cláudia Neves (IPV).
Dulcineia Wessel and Carlos Catorze from IPV presented the possibilities and technical resources, while Dejan Bogosavljevic (F4S) demonstrated the economic and financial potential of the new products.


At the end of the event, an idea workshop took place, during which the producers shared their perspectives on the new products and the use of the technological resources presented, with the main conclusions being shared at the event’s closing, including the results of the sensory tasting.
We are looking forward to the 3rd Workshop!
