For the first time, these two events will be held side by side, joining forces to bring together researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and students from across the Mediterranean.
As the concluding event of the InovFarmer.MED project, the symposium will convene leading scientists, industry innovators, agripreneurs, and policymakers to explore the latest scientific advances, technological breakthroughs, and market trends shaping Mediterranean fruit and vegetable value chains.
The program will feature:
- Inspiring keynote lectures from international experts.
- Interactive thematic sessions bridging research, business, and policy.
- Oral and Flash presentations to showcase innovative work.
- Networking opportunities to foster cross-sector dialogue and collaboration.
This dynamic platform will accelerate innovation and promote sustainable, resilient, and inclusive agri-food systems across the Mediterranean.

Abstracts submission
Authors are invited to submit their abstracts by October 19th, 2025, following the provided template.
Each registered author can submit a maximum of one abstract as presenting author, regardless of whether it is for an Oral or Flash Communication.
The official language of the Conference is English.
The maximum length for Oral presentations is 8 minutes and for Flash presentations 3 minutes. All presenters are requested to adhere to the stipulated time to ensure a smooth program flow.
Presentation Selection Process
We aim to accommodate the maximum possible number of Oral Communication slots.
However, if the requested Oral Communications exceeds the number of slots available, the Scientific Committee reserves the right to reassign submissions to Flash Communications based on scientific evaluation of all submitted abstracts. Conversely, if any Flash Communication meets the scientific requirements, the Scientific Committee will also take the liberty of proposing to the author its transformation into Oral Communication.
Upon submission, authors should receive a confirmation email. If the participant does not receive an email confirming the submission of the abstract, he/she should confirm in the spam e-mail box. For problems the participant should contact the Conference Secretariat (inovfarmermed@gmail.com).
All accepted abstracts will be published on the E-book of abstracts.
